Returning an item to a seller in a different country can be a daunting prospect, and a lot of buyers assume it will be both difficult and expensive. This can put them off shopping with overseas sellers altogether.

The UK is no longer part of the EU’s single market and customs union and differing rules apply. This means there will be changes to how you send and receive items from abroad and as of 1 July 2021, items imported to the EU with a value of €22 or less became liable for VAT.
